On 21 August 2025, SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with a delegation led by Long Haiyang, Chairman of the Board of China National Chemical Engineering and Construction Corporation (CC7).
During the meeting, information was provided on SOCAR’s diversified activities in the energy sector and the strategic projects the Company is implementing in Azerbaijan and abroad. The two sides discussed potential cooperation opportunities in the oil and petrochemical industry in Azerbaijan and in third.
CC7 is a subsidiary of CNCEC, one of China’s largest EPC contractors. Established in 1964 and headquartered in Chengdu, CC7 operates in both chemical and non-chemical sectors across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
