On 23 September 2026, SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with Orhan Remzi Karadeniz, Chairman of the Board of Türkiye’s Karpowership.
During the meeting, the guests were briefed on SOCAR’s global expansion strategy and the projects it is implementing in various countries. It was noted that, as SOCAR expands its international footprint, the company places particular emphasis on establishing strategic partnerships across various segments of the energy value chain and diversifying its investment portfolio.
During the discussions, the parties reviewed opportunities for joint activities between SOCAR and Karpowership in international markets, including potential cooperation in power generation, energy infrastructure, new energy solutions, and other areas of mutual interest.
