On the occasion of the professional holiday of Oil Workers’ Day, SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf and the company’s delegation visited the grave of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Martyrs’ Alley.
At the Alley of Honor, the SOCAR delegation paid deep respect and tribute to the cherished memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, founder of the modern Azerbaijani state and architect of the country’s new energy strategy, and laid a wreath at his monument.
The memory of prominent ophthalmologist and academician Zarifa Aliyeva was also honored, and flowers were laid at her grave.
At Martyrs’ Alley, the SOCAR delegation laid flowers at the graves of the martyrs who heroically sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and placed a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument.
