SOCAR Overseas Ltd is a subsidiary of SOCAR and was established and operates in Dubai (UAE). As part of its cooperation with SOCAR Marketing & Operations (Azerbaijan) and SOCAR Trading SA (Switzerland), SOCAR Overseas Ltd is trading in crude oil and refined petroleum products. SOCAR Overseas Ltd is a company incorporated in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), and trades with a wide range of third parties.

Apart from its trading activity SOCAR Overseas also acts as an investment and holding company. Historically, the company held a 50% share of JV SOCAR-Aurora Fujairah Terminal in the UAE until 2017, and an 80% share of Star Gulf FZO (UAE), which owned 50% of BOS Shelf LLC (Azerbaijan) until 2019.

Currently, SOCAR Overseas holds shares in the following companies of SOCAR Group:

• 100% of SOCAR Logistics DMCC (UAE), a company involved in providing logistics services to SOCAR subsidiaries and third parties in the Caspian Sea, Black Sea and Caucasus region.

• 100% of UML Middle East DMCC (UAE), a shipping subsidiary of SOCAR, which, through its subsidiaries, owns a wide ranging fleet of marine vessels for oil and petroleum products trading operations and having offices in the UAE, Singapore and Switzerland.

• 100% of AP International SA, an owner of 49% of SOCAR Petroleum JSC – a company operating a chain of retail petrol stations in Azerbaijan.

The company’s principal place of business is located at Dubai International Financial Centre, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
