SOCAR Enerji Ticaret, which carries out the wholesale of natural gas and electricity in Türkiye, has been considered the largest private sector representative in natural gas trade since 2009. SOCAR Enerji Ticaret, one of the leading companies in this area, sold 21,2 TWh (trillion watts per hour) of natural gas and electricity in 2023. The annual natural gas consumption of SOCAR Türkiye is approximately 1.7 billion m³.
